And most Americans are slipping even farther into credit card debt, and unfortunately these are the same people losing jobs and homes. Needless to say this is putting a huge amount of pressure on people to figure out ways to get out of debt quickly.
Thus leaving consumers vulnerable to sketchy debt relief companies who want to take advantage of them in their dire situations.
